Hey, my name is Johannes Becht - or simply Joe - and I am currently studying Communication with emphasis on Mass Communication at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Originally from Germany, I was working for a local newspaper from 2014 until 2019, mainly writing and editing for the Online Department and also covering local sports and news for the other departments. Moreover, I did internships at a big national newspaper in Berlin and a local video production company.

I've been working at The Southwestern since October 2019, first as News Reporter, then News, Web & Social Media Editor, and now as News, Social Media & Video Editor/Videographer.
