Beginning Feb. 3, The Bulldog Wellness Committee is offering the opportunity for participants to compete to become SWOSU’s “Biggest Loser.”

The program is open to any faculty, staff, or administrator on SWOSU’s insurance. To begin the program, participants will weigh in at the kinesiology lab in Rankin Williams Fieldhouse Room 107, and following weigh-ins will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30-4 p.m. The program will continue through March 13, and the Wellness Committee staff will record the amount lost or gained. This information will remain confidential, and the weights will never be shared.

If the scheduled weigh-in times do not work with a participant’s schedule, special accommodations can be made to ensure consistent weigh-in appointments.

Additionally, if a participant is interested in having a personal trainer for the six-week program, they can request one when signing up. Those who request a trainer will be paired with a junior or senior exercise science student in order to keep them on track to accomplish fitness goals. To sign up, visit www.swosu.formstack.com/forms/biggest_loser_registration.
