COVID-19 cases at SWOSU drop to all-time low

Good news from the SWOSU campus: Less and less students are tested positive for COVID-19. The number of active cases dropped to an all-time low.
Only 5 cases were reported by the SWOSU administration on Tuesday, Feb. 23. All those cases were students from the Weatherford campus. There was only one time when SWOSU announced the same number - on Jan. 5, when classes hadn't started yet.
One of the reasons for this low number is certainly the weather during the past weeks. Campus was closed on 12 of 14 days, and students stayed at home the most time. Also, road conditions might have prevented students with symptoms to get tested.
Furthermore, more and more SWOSU students get vaccinated, because they are either member of the army / National Guard, or because they are first responders, health care workers or volunteers for the vaccination clinics that take place at SWOSU every Friday.
