Dian Ray named new ITS Director at SWOSU

Dian Ray has been named director of the Information Technology Services office at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.
Ray, who has been an application systems analyst in that same office, will start her new position on May 1.
A 1998 graduate of Middlebury Union (VT) High School, Ray earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and mathematics and a Master of Science in management from SWOSU. She has over 14 years of information technology experience. Before joining the SWOSU IT Team in 2009, Ray served as a programmer analyst at Pioneer Telephone Cooperative, Inc., in Kingfisher.
For the past two years, Ray has served as the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project manager at SWOSU and coordinated with Team Leads to implement SWOSU’s new ERP system—Ellucian Colleague.
Ray said she enjoys working with SWOSU staff, faculty and students and hopes to continue serving the SWOSU community for many years to come.
She and her husband, Steve, reside in Weatherford and are the parents of Minnie, Christopher, Lilly, Grace and Hanna.
Ray replaces Karen Klein, who is retiring from SWOSU on June 30.
