There will be a SWOSU blood drive hosted by the Oklahoma Blood Institute on February 3-4. The drive is being held in the Wellness Center from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

The SWOSU blood drive will be the third drive this school year, and the first of the spring semester. These drives have been happening on campus for over 10 years. Each donation that is made can save three lives. The last blood drive, which took place in December, generated help for 528 patients.

For every person who donates, they will receive a free t-shirt. The t-shirt will be themed after the show “Friends”.

The athletics program has partnered up with SWOSU and OBI to allow athletes a day off of workouts if they donate blood.

The next blood drive happening at SWOSU will be April 6-7.
