SWOSU’s eSports program will have a new home located in the Wellness Center starting in the fall 2021 semester.

“The new arena will hold up to six players on each team,” Coach Hayden Harrington said. “Teams are divided by ground and second-story space with a green room behind each team space for in-between round meetings. The audience sitting holds 100-plus people.”

SWOSU eSports started competing last year and plans to compete in four different games: League of Legends, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Overwatch and Rocket League.

The Bulldogs have been streaming their games on Twitch.tv under the moniker @swosuesports and plan to continue to do so through completion of the new eSports arena.

To find out more about SWOSU’s eSports program and their new arena, stop by the booth located inside the Student Union on April 6 and 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
