Eta Iota Sigma was founded in 1992, and was established at SWOSU in 2013.

Eta was founded on the principle of shining a light on campus by demonstrating Christ's love to others.

There are currently 42 active members in Eta, and they are hoping to grow this number during rush week.

Some of the events that they take part in across campus are homecoming and Relay for Life. They also take part in their own events, such as mixers, a Galentine's Day party, and sisterhood events.

"Eta Sig stands out not only because it is a Christian sorority, but also because of the real, intentional, Christ-centered friendships that have been created through it. We stand out because we are called to love not only our sorority sisters, but everyone we come into contact with. This is what really makes us a light on campus," Natalie Kinder, president of Eta Iota Sigma, said.
