'Gone Savin’ Lives' blood drive planned Monday at SWOSU



The Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) will conduct a SWOSU student blood drive at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford this Monday, August 17, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The “Gone Savin’ Lives” blood drive will be held at the SWOSU Wellness Center.


Every donor can receive a free COVID-19 antibody test but must be at least 18 years old to receive the test. Donors will receive a Gone Savin’ Lives t-shirt and their choice of the following tickets: one entry to the Oklahoma Science Museum, two entries to Safari Joe’s or one entry to Frontier City.


OBI Account Consultant Melissa Santoro said appointments are encouraged to help with

The student organization with the most donations will win a pizza party.
