SHAWNEE, Okla. – An outstanding all-around performance from Makyra Tramble in her hometown paced the Lady Bulldogs as they raced past Oklahoma Baptist for an 88-64 victory at the Noble Complex.

The Lady Bulldogs started off the game trailing 8-7 half way into the first quarter before going on a 13-0 run, holding OBU scoreless for almost five minutes, to go up 20-8 at the end of the quarter with Macy and Karly Gore scoring the first 14 points for SWOSU. Another double digit run in the second put the Lady Bulldogs firmly in the lead for the rest of the game.

Tramble stuffed the stat sheet, finishing with a stat line of 23 points, nine rebounds and six assists as well as posting a career high nine steals. Karly Gore also put together a great performance, matching her career high for a second straight game with 19 points to go along with five boards, five assists and five steals. Macy Gore also finished with double digits with 13 and Bethany Franks finished with a season-high 14 rebounds.

"Bethany got a lot of big boards that we needed as well as some easy buckets around the rim," Head Coach Kelsi Musick said. "She executed the game plan and even got three steals."

This win moves the Lady Bulldogs to 8-1 on the season heading into a matchup with Southern Nazarene on Saturday back at home.
