Following a 3-0 start to the 2020-21 season, the SWOSU Women's Basketball team has earned their first national ranking of the year, entering the D2SIDA Media Poll at #21 this week.

The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) has not yet released a Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll for the current season, with the first poll set to be announced later this month.

The Lady Bulldogs are 3-0 on the year following divisional victories over East Central, Southeastern Oklahoma State and Northwestern Oklahoma State to open the year. Through three games, SWOSU is averaging 95.3 points per game and outscoring their opponents by an average of 32.7 points.

Four players are scoring in double figures, led by reigning Great American Conference Player of the Week Makyra Tramble, who is averaging a double-double of 24.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game to this point.

SWOSU returns to action on Thursday evening in Bethany, taking on Southern Nazarene before returning home Saturday afternoon to host Oklahoma Baptist.
