Megan Brown takes home a victory as SWOSU has another top-5 finish
Megan Brown won her first tournament at SWOSU, shooting three-over par, including an even-par round of 72 in her final round in the Newman Spring Invitational, played Tuesday-Wednesday at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, Kansas. SWOSU finished in fifth place, shooting 631 as a team. Mikaela Rindermann also had a top-10 finish, shooting 12-over par and fired a round of 75 in her final round as she tied for ninth place with four other golfers. Rebecca Lau finished tied for 30th, shooting 19-over par and Briana Venegas shot 22-over par for the Lady Bulldogs and finished in 38th place. Zoe Morton shot 26-over and tied for 46th place. SWOSU has one more tournament remaining before the Great American Conference Tournament. The Lady Bulldogs return to the golf course, April 12-13 at the Central Region Spring Preview in Springfield, Missouri.
