Tyler Rickey is a new professor to SWOSU. He started here six months ago on August 13, 2019.

He graduated from SWOSU after graduating high school in Watonga.

Rickey’s birthday is in July. His favorite color is green. His favorite sports team is SWOSU Bulldogs. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and other outdoors activities.

During high school, Rickey played on the baseball team. He was also involved in student council, NHS, the academic team, the Spanish club, and the ecology club.

When he was little, he wanted to grow up to be a paleontologist.

A weird fact about Rickey is that he won’t eat fish unless he caught it himself.

His favorite place he’s been is his grandma’s house in Minnesota.

His favorite thing about his time at SWOSU is the people he’s met and the relationships he’s created, including some of his closest friends and his wife.

Rickey’s advice to students at SWOSU is to “be active, participate, and volunteer.”
