SWOSU Hosts Free Elite Eight Watch Party at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center

The SWOSU Lady Bulldogs make their NCAA Division II Elite Eight debut with a national quarterfinal match versus Saint Anselm. The Lady Bulldogs are the number two seed for the NCAA Division II Elite Eight, which will begin on Tuesday, March 26th, at Alumni Hall in Columbus, Ohio. Their opponents are the 7th seed in the tournament.
The game begins at 1:30 p.m and the watch party will be held at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center on the Weatherford campus. There will be a 16-foot screen, concession stand, drawings for SWOSU palooza tickets and more..
This is both SWOSU and Saint Anselm's first appearance in the Division II Women's Elite Eight. SWOSU heads to Columbus as the champions of the Central Region with a record of 33-1 while the Hawks improved to 22-9 with a victory over LeMoyne College in the East Regional Championship game. The Lady Bulldogs have won 33 consecutive games since dropping their season opener to Emporia State, a loss they avenged in the Central Regional quarterfinals with a 71-65 victory over the Hornets.
