SWOSU International Festival to represent many countries

A SWOSU International Festival is being planned for Saturday, April 4, on the campus of Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.


The SWOSU International Student Association is planning and coordinating the event that will feature booths representing as many as 34 countries.


Arpana James, president of SISA, said the festival will be held from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the lobby and possibly the patio area of the Pioneer Cellular Event Center. Plans are underway for the event.


There will be free admission and open to everyone. James said there will be areas for tasting different cuisines from around the world.
