SWOSU Organizational Fair on August 27
Updated: Jul 16
Visitors of the SWOSU Organizational Fair are expected to wear masks. The Southwestern will also be represented.
Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s annual Organizational Fair is planned for Thursday, August 27, on the Weatherford campus.
Area businesses, churches, student organizations/clubs and others will have free booths from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. outside the Memorial Student Center. The popular Organizational Fair is held to welcome SWOSU students back to campus.
SWOSU Dean of Students Joshua Engle said it is a great way for area groups/businesses to meet and visit with SWOSU students.
The Southwestern will also be represented at the Organizational Fair to inform SWOSU students and faculty/staff about the student news website thesouthwestern.org as well as to recruit new staff members.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, SWOSU will expect masks to be worn and social distancing will be encouraged. The overall space of the fair is being expanded to provide more opportunity for social distancing.
Booth reservation forms are available by emailing email@example.com. Forms can also be picked up in the Dean of Students office (Stafford 214).
Because of the popularity of the event, businesses are encouraged to bring their own tables and chairs if possible. Setup is from 8-11 a.m.
The booth form needs to be returned by August 21 and can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, delivered to Room 214 in the Stafford Center or faxed to (580) 774-3034.
In case of inclement weather, the fair will be held at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center.
