The SWOSU Women’s team started the season at East Central this past Thursday and handled business from the tip, winning the game 92-77. Makyra Tramble led the scoring for the Lady Dawgs as she finished with 27 points and shot 50% from 3-point land while going 6/12.

Today is the home opener for the Lady Dawgs. Their defense is really what stood out in their first game, so look for them to continue to play tough defense with, per usual, solid offense.

The Lady Dawgs look to get their second win of the season against Southeastern Oklahoma State. Both SWOSU and SEOSU were picked to win the Great American Conference in the preseason polls. Southeastern began their season with a win at Oklahoma Baptist Thursday night, 61-56. An even night of scoring for SEOSU was led by Jordan Benson with 13. Four players for Southeastern scored in double figures, so look for anyone really to pop-off in the scoring column.

The game begins at 2:00 p.m. central time and the Men’s game is set to follow.
