The SWOSU Women’s Golf team competed in the Diffee Ford Invitational on Monday and Tuesday in Edmond, OK.

Megan Brown was tied for the lead after firing an opening-round 73 on Monday. She was two shots off that pace on Tuesday as she finished tied with Sydney Murray of Rogers State for second place, three shots behind tournament medalist Emma Shelley of Central Oklahoma.

Rebecca Lau matched Brown's low round of the week with a 73 on Tuesday and finished just one shot behind her at nine-over par for the tournament.

SWOSU got matching rounds of 79 from Mikaela Renderman and Georgia Miller for scores in round one, but both players dropped off slightly on Tuesday with rounds of 81 and 82, respectively. The Lady Bulldogs finished five shots behind Rogers State in second place and eight shots off the lead set by Central Oklahoma. Following their second straight third-place finish, SWOSU Women's Golf returns to action next week at the Midwestern State Invitational, played March 15-16 at Wichita Falls Country Club.
