Textbook rentals & more: SWOSU bookstore remains open
Updated: Jun 25, 2020
Students who have textbook and graduation gown rentals can still access the University Bookstore, which remains open despite the general closure of the SWOSU campus due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Textbook rental returns are due May 8, Ashley Hancock, director of the University Market and Bookstore, said. The final date to return rentals is May 12. Rentals can also be shipped to the bookstore prior to the final date.
While a new graduation date has not been set, students can still get their regalia, Hancock said. Students can stop by the market or have someone pick up the regalia for them. If those options are not available, the bookstore can ship the regalia to the student.
Hancock said if students need any help, they can email her at email@example.com.
The bookstore, currently managed by Follets, needs to close its accounts before Folletts closes May 15. The university will take over management of the bookstore and the University Market.
The market also remains open through the end of the semester. Its hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays.
