Tau Kappa Epsilon will be hosting a car bash on Feb. 19 at the student union. Students can pay to take hits at the car. Each hit will cost $2 or students can pay $5 for three hits.
The car bash is a fundraising event for St. Jude. It is currently not an annual event, however TKE has hosted the event before and is looking to make it a yearly event.
Alongside the car bash, TKE will soon be hosting their annual Jump-a-thon, where they will jump on a trampoline for 72 hours straight while raising money for St. Jude.
All of the philanthropy events held by TKE go towards helping at St. Jude.
The fraternity believes it to be one of the best causes they can support by providing help for kids with cancer, as well as helping to provide as much comfort as possible.
“We hope to see everyone come out and blow off some steam caused by school, and support a great cause," Ethan Lesley, president of TKE, said.
