Megan Brown tied for sixth place and fired a round of 73 in her second round of play at the Midwestern State Invitational, played Monday-Tuesday at Wichita Falls Country Club in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She was the only SWOSU golfer who shot three rounds in the 70's and the only one to crack the top 10 as an individual as she led her team to a tie for sixth place with Cameron.

Brown was one shot away from tying for third and finished 12-over par total for the tournament. She tied with Rebecca Reed from St. Mary's and with Abigail Rigsby from Oklahoma Christian.

Rebecca Lau finished second on the team for SWOSU and she fired a 74 in her final 18 holes after having scores of 78 and 85 in her first two rounds of golf.

Mikela Rindermann also shot a 78 in her first round, followed by rounds of 82 and 81 in her next two rounds.

The Lady Bulldogs finished two shots behind Central Oklahoma in fifth place and nine shots behind Midwestern State, who finished in third place.

SWOSU Women's Golf returns to action on March 29-30 in the Central Regional Tournament in St. Joseph, Missouri.
